Inspirations
Every artist started by having an inspiration. A landscape, a trip in another country, or sometimes just by looking at other artists.
That is what happened to me : during the first lockdown I have spent a lot of time watching workshops and videos of various artists.
Today I’d like to share all my sources with you, hoping to give you the same inspiration I have had back then.
Watercolorists state that in copying paintings you acquire new skills that allow you to form your own style of painting.

James Richards Sketchbook
James Richards is more than a reference for me, I call him my Jedi Master, a true super hero of the Sketch. He can be considered the Ernest Hemingway of sketching. He travels the world drawing urban and natural landscapes where always in the foreground there are people and their activities true focus of attention of each of his work. He taught me just that, to compose drawings starting from people, he's great! With his sympathy brings walking with him groups of students enchanted by his charm and his incredible skill.
